“I was raised in rural Cullman County Alabama. One summer I worked for a veterinarian. After that summer, I decided that I would rather work on people than “stinky” cows. I had always loved going to the dentist and I enjoyed my dental visits. When I was in the fifth grade, I had a bad experience with my teeth and my dentist was able to take care of me. From that time on I was interested in the field of Dentistry and I knew this would be one area that I could make a real difference in the lives of others. I have enjoyed taking care of my patients and interacting with them for over 25 years.”
Dr. Hawkins enjoys collecting vinyl records and is an avid golfer. He is married to Tammy and has two children Joshua and Lindsey and one grandchild, Jordyn.
“While at Auburn, I decided to follow my brother, Greg, into the dental field. In the twenty plus years that I have practiced, I have met many wonderful people. For some, going to the dentist is a very stressful event and one of the rewards I receive from practicing dentistry is relieving those fears and making their visit a pleasant one.”
Dr. Riley enjoys golfing, exercising, and watching Auburn football. He is married to Rhonda and has three children, Katie, John, and Ross.

Dr. Maggie is a native of North Alabama, born in Pennsylvania, but raised in the small town of Hartselle. She lived in central Alabama for over eight years, but now she and her family enjoy life in “small town America”. The McKelvey family also includes her husband Grant, their two sons Barrett and Bragg, and their two pups – Cash and Derby.
The McKelveys are active members of their church and community. They enjoy outdoor activities, including hunting, riding horses, playing with their boys, and traveling when watching college football isn’t keeping their autumn weekends busy!

“As a small child, I saw the transformation of dentistry in my mother. She went through reconstructive jaw surgery and her pain level significantly decreased. Since that experience and my childhood dentist urging me to pursue the art of dentistry, I decided in college to follow my heart and chose dental school over medical school.”
Dr. Jeremiah lives in Athens with his wife, Ashley and four children, Elisabeth, Lance, Lucy Brooke and Lynley Grace. They enjoy their time together as a family whether hunting, swimming, taking trips or just playing at home.
